Bhadradri Kothagudem (Telangana) [India], July 22 (ANI): The water level in the Godavari River reached 48 feet at Bhadrachalam at 2:09 pm on Monday, prompting the authorities to issue flood warnings.
The Bhadrachalam Revenue Divisional Officer has issued a fax message to the Bhadrachalam ITDA Project Officer and Bhadradri Kothagudem Collector & District Magistrate in this regard.
. A second warning has been issued at Bhadrachalam and all officers are advised to take necessary action.
“Godavari Floods 2024, Bhadradri Kothagudem District, Bhadrachalam Division & Mandal, Godavari Water Level reached 48′ feet (forty-eight feet) on July 22, 2024, at 2:09 pm. Second warning issued, forecast indicates further rise, all the flood duty officers take action as per the Godavari flood manual,” the Revenue Divisional Officer said.
It is due to the arrival of flood water coming from the upper areas that the water level at Bhadrachalam has increased. (ANI)
