Chamoli (Uttarakhand) [India], November 13 (ANI): A meeting was held in Vidhan Sabha Bhawan located in Bharadisen, Gairsain on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami regarding the implementation of land law in the state.
CM Dhami discussed the draft of the land law with the committee formed for the land law, and other former officials and intellectuals regarding strict land law in Uttarakhand
On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that the state government is very serious about the land law and following public sentiments.
CM Dhami said that during the discussion many good suggestions have come, which will be included in the land law. He said that suggestions will also be taken from the public regarding the land law at the SDM and Tehsildar level, out of which good suggestions will be included.
The Chief Minister said that the draft of a strong land law is being prepared keeping in mind the needs of the local people and the aspects of development.
Earlier in the day, CM Dhami prayed at Badrinath Dham and wished for happiness, prosperity and peace in the state.
The Chief Minister said that the Yatra is now in its final stages, adding that still, a large number of devotees from all over the country visit Baba Badri Vishal.
CM Dhami said that the number of devotees has been increasing continuously for the last two or three years.
“In the coming time, there will be a record increase in the number of pilgrims. With the inspiration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the work of the master plan is being completed here at a fast pace. The government is trying to make the Yatra better every year,” he said. (ANI)
