New Delhi [India], November 14 (ANI): Bollywood couple Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan are both from Delhi. From childhood to college days, they spent a significant time of their growing up years in the national capital. And to date, despite being moved to Mumbai years ago, the two continue to share a special bond with their friends and relatives from Delhi.
Delhi-based art connoisseur Shalini Passi and her husband Sanjay Passi, who is the Chairman of Pasco Group, are one of the oldest friends of Shah Rukh and Gauri.
During a virtual interview with ANI, Shalini opened up about her close ties with the Khan family, revealing her husband Sanjay and SRK studied together.
“Sanjay (Shalini’s husband) and Shah Rukh studied together. They both were in the same school and college. Also, my husband and Gauri were neighbours in Delhi…and then our sons also sort of grew up together. (SRK and Gauri’s son) Aryan and my son Robin decided to go to the same universities and they are only six months apart…we all are so close,” she shared.
Recently, netizens dug out old pictures of Shalini after watching her stint in Netflix’s show ‘Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives’.
One of the images featured Shalini and Gauri sitting together – all decked up in ethnic attire.
Recalling the moment when the particular picture was captured, Shalini shared, “It’s from my wedding festivities. Shah Rukh and Gauri had come for the wedding… the image is from Mata ki chowki…I met Gauri and Shah Rukh when I got engaged…It was a wonderful time. Happy memories.”
Shalini became a viral sensation after the success of ‘Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives’, which gave the audience a sneak peek into her personal and professional life. With her larger-than-life personality and vivid sartorial sense, she captured the audience’s attention like no one else on the show. (ANI)
