Gold rakhis are in the price range of Rs 4000 to Rs 80,000, due to fall in prices. The price of the diamond rakhis starts from Rs 35,000. We have received a great response this year on our collection. Our rakhis are customized as per the needs of the customers in the form of bracelets. Platinum rakhis have also been ordered by several customers,” he said.
Talking about the price cutoffs this year, Chaukasi said that the prices of the rakhis have steadily fallen this year by at least 10 per cent and due to this, there has been an increase in the sale of diamonds and silver.
“This year, there has been a cutdown by 10 per cent on the prices of diamond and silver. With the cutdown in the prices, the customers have decided to order more diamond and silver rakhis this year,” he added.
