New Delhi [India], September 25 (ANI): India Metrological Department (IMD) has predicted the possibility of light rain in the Delhi-National Capital (NCR) Region for Wednesday evening and over the next two days.
Speaking to ANI, IMD scientist Dr Naresh said that the winds from the Bay of Bengal may result in light rainfall activity in the region.
“Winds from the Bay of Bengal are coming towards Delhi-NCR, this may result in light rain in the evening. Light rainfall may also occur tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. The rainfall activity will end after that,” he told ANI.
On the rising humidity in Delhi over the last few days, Naresh said, “We expect that the weather will be pleasant after that… In the coming 1 or 2 days, Himachal Pradesh may experience light to moderate rainfall. Uttarakhand may receive isolated heavy rainfall…”

The IMD also predicted an extremely heavy rainfall warning over Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim for September 26.
It also predicted a very heavy rainfall warning for Saurashtra and Kachchh, Bihar, and Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghlaya for September 26.
Meanwhile, heavy rainfall was observed in the coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam during the past 24 hours till 8:30 am on September 25. (ANI)
