Chief Minister Manik Saha also paid tribute to “the architect of modern Tripura,” Maharaja Manikya Bahadur on his 116th birth anniversary.

Meanwhile, a two-day celebration of Maharaja’s 116th birth anniversary has been organised in the town of Khumulwng in the West Tripura district. The event commenced on Sunday and was jointly organised by the INTACH Tripura Chapter and the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC).
Maharaja Bir Bikram Kishore Manikya Bahadur is considered the architect of modern Tripura and was most popular for his prudence and contribution to the modern society and system of the state. (ANI)
