New Delhi [India], August 22 (ANI): The Central Industrial Security Force’s (CISF) quick reaction team played a crucial role in stabilizing a passenger who suffered a cardiac arrest at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport, officials said on Thursday.
According to officials, a passenger, identified as Arshid Ayoub, who was bound for a Srinagar flight from Terminal 2 of IGI Airport, collapsed due to a cardiac arrest.
A quick response team member immediately performed CPR, which was instrumental in stabilizing the passenger’s condition.
A Medanta doctor also arrived at the scene, assessed the situation, and transported the passenger to the Medanta medical room for further treatment. Later, the passenger was referred to Safdarjung Hospital for advanced care, officials said.
