Guwahati (Assam) [India], September 17 (ANI): On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma donated blood at the Blood Bank of Gauhati Medical College and Hospital on Tuesday.
During a media interaction at the hospital, Sarma remarked that today marks the 74th birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, whose life struggles serve as a source of inspiration for the people of India.
“Prime Minister Modi’s life struggles are a source of inspiration for the people of India,” he said.
Sarma emphasised that PM Modi’s journey–from humble beginnings to elevating India to a position of global prominence–embodies a dream, resolve, and an unyielding quest.
He expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Modi and noted that members of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) observe this day as one of service.
In this spirit, he described the blood donation drive as a modest but meaningful effort to support those in need. He also thanked Cabinet Minister Jayanta Mallabaruah and several party workers for their participation in the drive.
