New Delhi [India], August 1 (ANI): Vicky Kaushal added ‘chaar chand’ with his charm to finale show of Falguni Shane Peacock’s show on Wednesday at India Couture Week. Like always, he served his husband’s goals as he remembered his better half, Katrina Kaif and their wedding day after looking at the collection of designers.
After setting the stage on fire with his walk alongside beautiful actor Rashmika Mandanna, during media interaction, Vicky shared how he wanted to call Katrina backstage while watching the collection of designers.
He said, “When I was backstage and I was watching the show Live on Instagram page of Falguni and Shane because I just wanted to see what the energy is and I am genuinely saying this not because I am part of the show but I was genuinely blown away by the work you guys have created. The detailing, grandness, royalness of it. All it was just amazing.”
After praising the collection, he shared how he wanted to show the collection to Katrina.
Vicky added, “To be very honest, I really felt like calling Katrina and telling her because so many outfits reminded me of my marriage because of the things she wanted particularly. She was like “I want that” but she is on a flight. So I will tell her eventually but really hats off to you guys. You guys are genius.”
On the ramp, Vicky Kaushal, embraced a regal aura with his pale golden dust sherwani, meticulously embellished with heavy sequined embroidery.
The outfit was paired with powder-golden ivory pants and matching loafers, creating a harmonious and sophisticated look that exuded luxury and refinement.
Falguni Shane Peacock, celebrating two decades of redefining Indian couture, showcased their latest collection, ‘Rang Mahal,’ as the highlight of the event.
The collection paid tribute to India’s cultural legacy with intricate designs and luxurious fabrics, all skillfully created by master artisans from the Falguni Shane Peacock atelier and the dedicated weavers at Swadesh.
This collection celebrates the rich diversity and vivid hues defining our culture and tradition, drawing inspiration from India’s majestic symbols: resplendent parrots and peacocks, serene swans, powerful horses and elephants, magnificent tigers, mystical palaces, traditional diyas, the melodious sitar, the sacred banyan tree and peepal leaf, expressive mudras, fragrant roses, the spiritual conch, revered cows, intricate paisleys and Kashmiri thread work, the unparalleled Taj Mahal, and sparkling diamonds.
The event was more than just a fashion show; it was a sensory feast that began with a
contemporary dance and sitara performance themed in lilac.
The evening was enlivened by a live concert featuring contemporary renditions of popular Bollywood hits, adding a dynamic musical element to the runway experience. (ANI)
