Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], November 23 (ANI): BRS Working President KT Rama Rao (KTR) stated that the people of Maharashtra have noticed the betrayal of Congress with the people of Telangana in implementing the poll promises and rejected the Congress. Despite spending Rs 300 crore of Telangana taxpayers’ money on false advertisements, the public in Maharashtra did not believe Congress’ lies, KTR said in a statement.
KTR criticized Congress for its contradictory claims, pointing out that while it promised Rs 3,000 in Maharashtra, it failed to deliver Rs 2,500 to 1.6 crore women in Telangana. He remarked that the people of Maharashtra rejected these false promises and lies. He also advised Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to stop spreading false propaganda and focus on fulfilling the promises made to the people of Telangana.
KTR added that Congress’ promises in Maharashtra, which it failed to deliver in Telangana, exposed its double standards. Despite spending Rs 300 crore of public money on advertisements, the people of Maharashtra were not deceived. He also pointed out the hypocrisy in Congress’ stance on Adani, labelling him a fraud in Maharashtra while maintaining business ties with him in Telangana.
KTR highlighted that Congress faced complete rejection by the people in Maharashtra. In Jharkhand, Congress could not independently form a government and had to rely on the regional party JMM. He noted that this inability to independently form state governments demonstrates Congress’ diminishing political strength.
KTR emphasized that the future of Indian politics belongs to regional parties. He noted that the Maharashtra and Jharkhand election results reflect the growing dissatisfaction with national parties like BJP and Congress and highlight the importance of respecting regional aspirations.
He congratulated Hemant Soren of the JMM for his victory in Jharkhand, emphasizing that the growing prominence of regional forces is crucial for federalism and the development of states. He remarked that the election results in both Maharashtra and Jharkhand demonstrate that people will stand by regional forces when national parties attempt to suppress them.
KTR concluded by expressing optimism about the continued rise of strong regional leaders like KCR, who prioritize development and federalism. He stated that such leaders will play a significant role in shaping the future of the country while ensuring the growth and development of states.
